SILICON BEACH CONGRESSIONAL DEBATE
Wed May 14 at 10AM on Cyber Law & Business Report
The Candidates
1. Eighteen (18) candidates are on the June 3rd Primary Ballot to fill Henry Waxman's seat.
We Invited seven (7) to do 10-Minute Interviews on why they are the best candidate for Silicon Beach.
Since we only have an hour show, we are limited in how many candidates we can speak with. We have chosen the seven candidates that the host believes are the most politically viable and have the greatest chance of advancing to the run off in November.
2. When will the interviews be conducted and/or air?
Assuming all respond the interviews will be aired on May 14th and May 21st CLBR (which runs from 10-11AM Pacific Time). The interviews themselves, however, can be either done live that day or recorded earlier at a convenient time.
Preference will be given to scheduling live interviews for the May 14th show, with air time priority for recorded interviews to be given in the order in which they were recorded.
We are not looking for crossfire sparring between candidates but rather want to get out their position on key issues to the Silicon Beach community (and we will post responses to the questionnaire as they are received on this site and the CLBR blog) and allow them the opportunity to explain why they deserve the support of the Silicon Beach community.
